Find Best stay in Japan exists to give international travelers information they can act on. Every recommendation is built on first-hand research and then checked by a subject-matter supervisor before it is published.

How we work

• First-hand research. We visit, photograph and document each place ourselves.
• Policy verification. We confirm the details travelers depend on — especially tattoo and private-bath (kashikiri) policies — directly with each facility, and we date every check.
• Expert supervision (監修). A credentialed supervisor reviews the content in their field for accuracy before publication, and on an ongoing basis.
• Independence. Affiliate commissions never influence our assessments or rankings.
